Night Stalker

Darkness, my immortal playground.
For centuries I've haunted
Her shadows as you've slept so sound:
Oblivious, undaunted.

I guarantee, you'll see me soon,
Or glimpse me in a dream,
As guided by the waning moon
You'll join my dead hareem.

A promise, then, I've made to you!
But until then, tonight:
I stalk another's avenue
To heed her silent plight.

Restless, she heaves before me,
This half-clad maiden dozes;
Her neck so bare, I'm in her head…
…bring lilies and white roses.

I feel her life coarse through my veins,
My eyes, chin, fangs stain red.
So little of her soul remains;
Another bride, undead!
